We just learned that our salvaged wood came from the Shenandoah Valley's turn of the century houses (that were abandoned and slated for demolition). The mention that these trees "live on, harbored in the homes of people who appreciate their beautiful wood" made this purchase feel even more special. They are gorgeous. Eco-friendly and made-to-order. You can't beat it! Beautiful work. :) Thank you-
